Every record I put out is the culmination of what I've learned up to that point, so from my perspective, each one sits on the other side of a recently-crossed threshold. It always feels like a breakthrough is being made, at least from my own perspective, making it hard to actually gauge if progress was really made or not.

I'm pretty confident, however, that this EP represents a step forward in my sound.

And yet, the more I know, the more I become aware of just how much I don't know.

What about you? Were things easier when you didn't understand them? Do you envy the past for being a simpler time, even though that simplicity is likely just a fallacy of ignorance? Do you still wish you could go back?
